Due to circumstances beyond the control of e-Sword Users, there are e-Sword Resources available that were created from material that is currently held under a Copyright © All Rights Reserved license or another type of restrictive distribution license ("Copyright" or "Copyrighted").  This situation and the e-Sword Users Team's desire to serve only God, demands that these types of e-Sword Resources will ONLY be listed in the Non-Licensed or Non-Distributable section of the e-Sword Users website.

While e-Sword Users did not create these e-Sword Resources, we realize that these types of e-Sword Resources are being distributed without the approval of the Copyright holder.  And in our attempt to assist the e-Sword community to become more accountable to the 8th Commandment, "You shall not steal." (Exodus 20:15), e-Sword Users will only list these types of e-Sword Resources; simply as an attempt to archive their existence.  In this archive, e-Sword Users will list all information we are able to gather on the Copyright holder, the date of Copyright, the condition of the Copyright, the Publisher and any other facts regarding this issue the e-Sword Users Team may find.

Furthermore, e-Sword Users will NOT distribute nor make these types of e-Sword Resources available for ANY reason.  Instead, e-Sword Users will offer an opportunity to any user of e-Sword who desires to purchase a hard copy of a non-licensed or non-distributable e-Sword Resource they did not create from a hard copy, and they already own and are already using.  To this end e- Sword Users will provide at least one link a user may click on and be taken to a website where they may purchase a hard copy.

While e-Sword Users neither assents to nor denies the license specific rights of an owner of a particular hard copy to format shift it into an e-Sword Resource.  We do, however, recognize that this is exactly what is being done.  And this is our point; while users of e-Sword may have the license specific right to format shift, they DO NOT have the right to distribute these e-Sword Resources they create, except in limited circumstances governed by license specific rights.

In the event that you are the creator of one of these types of e-Sword Resources that we have classified as non-licensed or non-distributable, or you have information regarding this type of e-Sword Resource that may effect a change in our policy regarding a specific e-Sword Resource; please feel free to Contact Us and let us know.  If you can present a convincing and proving case that you or another has the right to distribute,  the e-Sword Users Team may change a particular e-Sword Resource's status.  But only as we see fit and are comfortable with doing so in light of our duty to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We truly appreciate your patience in this matter and we urge all users of e-Sword, to at the very least, make an attempt to be in obedience to God's Word and the 8th Commandment.
