Ben,

Using 2.0.1.6 standard I am unable to create a commentary file from a text file. I tried both the supplied sample CommentarySample.txt and one that I created from that pattern but BeStT throws an exception.

It wants to set the format at B C:V-V which seems odd for a commentary file. The example format is tab separated fields:
Book Chapter Start Verse End Verse Commentary

The exception text is "Could not load file or assembly 'Primeworks.DesktopSqlCe' etc .....

Thanks,
Jim

Re: Question about creating commentary file

The 2.0.1.6 version is a bit on the older side.  Try the latest one on the Download BeST page (http://e-sword-users.org/users/node/190) or obtain BeST 2.1.0.0 Premium by donating to BeST and e-Sword-Users.org (clicking on the donate button)...

I'm on vacation for a couple of weeks, so I won't be able to help you much at this point.  I also don't have copies of my older versions...

In His Name,
Ben.

That link does point to the 2.0.1.6 download .... I'll get the premium and give it a go. Have a great vacation!

Re: Question about creating commentary file

BeST 2.1 Premium worked perfect!! It still auto-ID'ed the format as B C:V-V but I forged ahead and it 'just worked'.
